Jesus said "... the truth will set u free" in John 8:32.
Similarly the converse remains true as well.

"Deceptions will keep you in bondage"

The bondage of being trapped in a situation, thinking that u can never get out of it. Fears of unknown future, deception that God is far away...the list goes on
anything that's untrue of God's character and promises mentioned in the bible can flash thru our minds easily at times when we're feeling really low/let our guard down spiritually. We cannot entertain those thoughts at all- resist playing with fire!

"Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings"
